Old Rottweiler Pictures 1900 -1926
Rottweilers were not large robust dog's, it's not until the Mastiff-like Roman drover dogs bred with the local dog population to creat the breed today.
Some pictures below show white markings to prove the Greater Swiss Mountain dog and the Berneese Mountain Dogs bred with the Rottweil town dogs.
